POMP reads the feed and finds its lists and values for you, you choose the fields and the layout, and every screen refreshes the data on its own without reloading the playlist.

How it works
Plenty of systems can already give you a JSON link: point-of-sale and stock systems, booking tools, sports results services, Google Apps Script, Airtable and your own website. The Live data element in the screen designer reads that link, finds the lists and single values inside it, and lets you choose what to show without writing code.
For a list, pick the fields to show as columns, set their order and headings, and add dividers. For a single value, such as a fundraising total or the number of people in a queue, format it as a number, money or a percentage and add words before or after it. Then style it like any other text in your design.
Screens fetch the data through POMP's relay rather than calling your server directly. One request serves every screen, your feed doesn't need to allow other websites, and if the feed goes down the screens keep the last good data instead of showing an error.

What kind of link do I need?
Any https link that returns JSON, such as an API, a Google Apps Script web app or a file on your website. It must be public; links that need a login won't work.
Does the playlist reload when the data changes?
No. Only the live data part updates, on its own, at the interval you set.
My feed blocks other websites (CORS). Will it still work?
Yes. Screens read the feed through POMP, so CORS settings don't matter.
Which devices show live data?
It works on every POMP player: Apple TV, Android TV and Google TV devices, iPad, and any modern web browser at player.pompsignage.com, which covers PCs, kiosks and most smart TVs with a browser. Lists need POMP player 2.1.2 and single values 2.1; older players show the data from when the playlist last loaded. Native apps for Amazon Fire TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs are coming soon.
Is live data on the Free plan?
Yes. Live data from JSON is included on every POMP plan, including Free, which covers 1 screen and 1 playlist. Paid plans add more screens, playlists and storage.
